We left Kamloops for the beautiful Whistler, the Hwy 99 to this village is so so beautiful. Canadians (and others) probably have never heard of this secret road! It should be in a National Geographic magazine. The above picture is the only I could capture.
The above picture is of the Nairn Falls hike we took. We did this hike last year almost the same time but it was lightly raining. This year it was a beautiful sunny day and more water coming down the Falls.
While we visited Whistler this time last year I wanted to see the outdoor Vallea Lumina nearby. This is an outdoor hike through the forest with a light, sound and video show. This has won many awards. Last year it was too rainy at night but this year it was a must-see for us. The pictures below are just a sampling as you have to feel, hear and see this kind of adventure.
Hike and hike some more, that is why we bought hiking boots. This trip is about the outdoors. The below hike was Rainbow Falls near Whistler and we love it when we can see something amazing on our hikes. The trees are super tall here compared to Alberta. Every place has its beauty.
Of course we walk into the village and takes some great shots there.
I love unique road names! This one is near Whistler, B.C.
